St. Dionysius the Areopagite
St. Dionysius the Areopagite is mentioned in Acts 17:34. He was a convert to Christianity under St. Paul and later became the Bishop of Athens. He is sometimes confused with a later writer who assumed the name, and later a Bishop in Gaul.
